Prairie Grove Chestnut Growers is an association of over 60 chestnut growers located in the U.S. heartland states of Iowa,Missouri,and Illinois. Started in 2014 it serves as a central processing and marketing concern. We are located in eastern Iowa.
We sell fresh chinese chestnuts from late september through the month of october.
Our growers bring in freshly harvested chestnuts . They are cleaned,sorted,bagged,refrigerated, and then marketed.
Roasting chestnuts is the most common method used before consumption.
We supply chestnuts to over 1,800 Happy Customers in 46 states.
